Undefined, est un proposition de Fabrice Cattalano (artiste musicien performer) et Ingrid Florin (danseuse contemporaine), plaçant la performance dans l’espace de l’indéfinissable : par l’abstraction sonore, l’instabilité du temps.Ce temps qui ne fixe pas… Le musicien crée la mouvance sonore, la danseuse reflète la pensée de ce dernier par le mouvement.

Le tissage des deux artistes crée le concept d’Undefined dans l’instant présent

Ce projet révèle un voyage, une traversée inattendue de la musique et de la danse, autant pour les artistes que pour le public. Chaque performance est différente et en constante remise en cause. Musique et danse tissent un lien spécifique : C’EST UNE INFINIE EXTENSION DE L’AUTRE.

Poser la question qu’est-ce que la musique ou qu’est ce que la danse, c’est se situer ou tenter de définir, non une sphère de ces deux arts, mais un acte artistique proprement singulier. C’est admettre l’affect immédiat que projettent la musique et la danse sur un public, jusqu’au discours qui cherche à le conceptualiser, et à le déterminer. Pour Undefined, il n’y a ni perdition, ni travestissement dans l’action artistique. Cette performance a pour but l’accomplissement d’une activité créative et interprétative entre la musique et la danse, inspirée des courants dadaïste et futuriste, déplaçant les enjeux de leurs actions respectives dans un système de représentation improvisée. Les interactions et les transformations entrain de se produire dans la fabrication vivante de l’art, résistent à la reproductibilité. Chaque performance est un voyage dans l’inconnu, une nouvelle expérience sonore vocale et physique. Ceci étant la principale dynamique de ce projet : Ne jamais reproduire la même performance.

Performance for one musician and one dancer
Undefined, is a proposal Fabrice Cattalano (musician performer) and Ingrid Florin (contemporary dancer), placing the performance space of the indefinable:by abstraction of sound, instability of time. Time is not fixed. The musician creates the sound movement, the dancer reflects the thinking of the latter through movement.
The connection of the two artists created the concept of Undefined in the present.
This project reveals a journey, an unexpected journey of music and dance, for both artists and the public.Each performance is different and constantly challenged. Music and dance weave a specific link: AN EXTENSION OF THE ANOTHER.
What is the music or what is the dance? Try to define, not a sphere of these two arts, but a strictly singular artistic act. Admit the immediate affect that project the music and dance on public until discourse that seeks to conceptualize and to determine. For Undefined, there is neither destruction nor travesty in artistic action.This performance accomplish a creative and interpretative activity between music and dance, inspired by Dadaist and Futurist currents, moving the stakes of their respective shares in an improvised representation.Interactions and transformations resist to the reproducibility.
Each performance is a journey into the unknown, a new voice and physical sound experience. This is the main thrust of this project: Never reproduce the same performance.
